About Us

Nicole Baldree was born in Boynton Beach, Florida and grew up in Marianna, Florida. After Graduating from Marianna High School and Chipola College, Nicole moved to Orlando, Florida to attend the University of Central Florida and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to study under the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health where she secured her Master’s degree in Public Health Administration. Her final theses paper was titled, “Policy Analysis of a Florida Law Regulating Pool Safety” which describes the current condition of Florida regulations around the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act and House Bill 849.

Nicole’s background includes 6.5 years working at the Florida Department of Health as an Environmental Specialist II. While employed with DOH, she inspected swimming pools, septic tanks, drinking water wells, foster homes, food facilities, school plants, tanning beds and biomedical waste for compliance under various Florida Administrative Codes. She also investigated indoor air quality and nuisance complaints. Nicole is currently registered as a Certified Environmental Health Professional (CEHP) through the State of Florida.

Nicole also has a background in swimming pool sales, with a focus on pool chemicals, parts, resurfacing and renovation projects.

In 2012, Nicole saw that there was a need for education on pool maintenance and safety and a demand for the Certified Pool & Spa Operator’s® Course. With her strong educational background and experience, Nicole furthered her knowledge by attending the National Swimming Pool Foundation’s® Instructor course in Long Beach, California. There she became a National Swimming Pool Foundation® Authorized Instructor (Registration Number 34*101749).

Today she continues to focus her business on education and safety in and around pools. Baldree Pools is committed to the highest level of customer service. The company motto is “to treat others as you want to be treated: with integrity, honesty and respect.”
